Why have you updated the packaging?
Our new packaging makes it very easy for Pet Lovers to find the information that is important to them. The look is cleaner, with our ACANA™ commitments featured on the back of the packaging. A call-out to the benefits of rotational feeding encourages Pet Lovers to provide variety of food for their dogs, and it’s also very easy to find the ingredients, Guaranteed Analysis and the feeding guide.

Will I need to transition to the new recipes?
As these recipes are new formulas, dogs who are currently on ACANA™ will be okay with a short transition of 50/50 for a day or two.
Dogs that are particularly sensitive or new to ACANA™ food may benefit from a longer transition onto the new formulas. We recommend starting by combining 25% of your new ACANA™ recipe with 75% of your dog's previous food, gradually increasing the amount of the new ACANA™ recipe over the course of a week to help your dog get used to it

Why did you change the name of ACANA Regionals to ACANA Highest Protein?
ACANA Regionals recipes have been an important part of our ACANA portfolio for many years; however, where they fit within our product line and their purpose has been difficult for Pet Lovers to understand. To make this clearer, these recipes have been rebranded as ACANA Highest Protein.
